The pear shape downplays high-tech features such as a beta titanium face insert. The "cup-face" design (it's shaped like a cup turned on its side) eliminates weld marks on the face. This means you get top ball speed across more face area, so mis-hits travel nearly as far as solid strikes. MT 460 has neutral to slight draw-bias weighting to suppress cut shots, while MT 460 Offset suits those with a chronic wild slice. Aldila's DVS shaft comes standard in MT 460.
