Geoff Ogilvy: Handyman
Geoff Ogilvy proves you don't need a superhero's — or supersized — physique to compete. His long, lanky frame can't create clubhead speed the way guys like Tiger Woods can, so he taps a secondary power source: his hands and arms. Ogilvy plays with the clubface open. This requires him to square it through impact using very active hands — a huge no-no in today's teaching circles.

But the slightly open clubface position serves him well when he's hitting specialty shots and working the ball, and it's effective around the greens. The disadvantages are a lack of accuracy off the tee and trouble controlling the ball in windy conditions.
