For 31-year-old Brett Wetterich, a lifetime of hard work helped make him an overnight success. With a surprise win at the Byron Nelson in 2006, and an even more surprising spot on that year's Ryder Cup team, Wetterich became a force on the PGA Tour.
Wetterich's swing is a throwback to a time before digital video analysis, core training and swing gurus. His swing doesn't have the perfect lines of many of the young players in today's game, but what it lacks in beauty it makes up for in power. His strong, thick frame helps produce tremendous clubhead speed that keeps him in the top 10 in driving distance.
