We tested: 3-wood (15.5°), 4 (17°) and 7 (21.5°) in TFC 129F graphite shaft. Shaft length (3-wood): 43", graphite
Company line: "The shallow face is longer heel to toe to increase its effective hitting area for added forgiveness and consistency. Its low leading edge and bounce angle lower the CG, which increases energy transfer and makes it easier to get under the ball."
Voted Best from the Fairway
Our Test Panel Says:
PROS: Small enough to control and work the ball either way, big enough to be forgiving and strong; effortlessly glides through turf; a nice spring effect at impact; excellent workers from rough; a good, hard-driving ball flight; beautiful bronze shaft and moon-shaped alignment aid.
CONS: Misses can feel somewhat similar across the face; lower trajectory will limit its carry distance; seems to respond better to a vertical swing than a sweeping motion off the tee.
"Center strikes deliver a great response." Alan Dante (12)
