Cleveland HiBore XLS
A 17-percent larger clubface than its
predecessor (the HiBore XL) means you
get higher ball speeds over a larger area
of the face (think larger trampoline versus
smaller one). Two internal titanium
ribs connect the crown to the sole; this rigid
support structure limits vibration and
improves impact sound. The XLS comes
in standard (square face angle at address),
Tour (lower flight, more fade bias, 2° open)
and Draw (highest flight, offset hosel, 3°closed).
The Fujikura Fit-On M Gold
shaft is more tip flexible, to
increase launch and draw
bias; Fit-On M Red has a
firmer feel and reduces spin
for high-ball-speed players.
