UFi, short for "ultimate forgiveness iron," features a clubface made of nine alloys, including aluminum and scandium. The combination of metals elicits a buttery impact feel. The face is 65 percent lighter than steel and 35 percent lighter than titanium, so discretionary mass can be positioned lower and closer to the perimeter.
In this case, a total of 50 grams is squeezed into two tungsten inserts along the heel and toe. A light urethane insert in the sole further dampens feel and spreads weight.
