Located just north of Washington DC, is Whiskey Creek Golf Club. This par 72 championship course measures in at 7,010 yards from the back tees.Architect J. Michael Poellot and design consultant Ernie Els, have incorporated much of the local terrain into Whiskey Creek, including streams, stone walls, wetlands, and mountain views. The course boasts a number of dramatic elevated tees, and every shot begs golfers to balance risk and reward. While the course will prove quite challenging to a variety of handicaps, the wide fairways, multiple tees, and open approaches to the greens will also favor beginners and high handicappers. The club includes a bentgrass driving range, practice putting green, a chipping green with sand bunker, and individual lessons are availiable. Whiskey Creek also offers the Pro Link GPS system in all golf carts.
