This course offers a nice variety of holes that are routed through rugged woodlands, gently rolling meadows, and a former rock quarry. Both the greens and the fairways are generous. Tee and approach shots are open. The front nine plays across hilly terrain, with mature, oak-lined fairways. The second half of the course is open. The signature hole is #5, a 414-yard, par 4, which features a long dogleg right fairway. The first shot must carry a hill. The green is reachable in two, however, the approach to the green is very steep. Precision is important on this hole.
