This course, which was originally called Seven Hills, is open to guests staying at the Rio Hotel, as well as guests of other hotels in Las Vegas. The course is located at the foot of the Black Mountains and was cut through the desert and washes. The fairways are wide open with several sand bunkers in the landing area. The undulating greens are large and also protected by bunkers. Butch Harmon, the swing coach for Tiger Woods, open the Butch Harmon School of Golf here in the fall of 1997.
