This course was redesigned by Mike Hoelzer and reopened in 1998. The front nine is considerably shorter than the back nine and considered much less difficult. The greens are very undulating and have medium speed. Sand bunkers around the greens are relatively deep and numerous. The fairways are flat and generous. Hole #9, a 439-yard, par 4, and #16, a 554-yard, par 5, are considered the signature holes. Both have dogleg fairways and water hazards that enter into play.
