This mature course offers a variety of challenges throughout the design, including tree-lined fairways, some of which are narrow, while others are hilly, and a few dogleg fairways. The course is well maintained and has the reputation of being one of the best in western Canada. The undulating greens are average-sized and six are tiered. The signature hole is #9, a 436-yard, par 4, featuring a dogleg right fairway that calls for an approach shot over water. A good tee shot is necessary for a low score, otherwise you'll have to lay-up on the second shot. A visually pleasing hole is #17, a 155-yard, par 3, which has an elevated tee box planted with a variety of flowers. A particularly difficult hole is #6, a 508-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot from an elevated green onto a narrow fairway protected by water and trees. William G. Robinson designed the back nine, which was added in 1986.
