This course appears short, but don't be fooled by looks. The diversity in design offers many challenges for even the seasoned golfer. There are tree-lined fairways, some uphill holes and some downhill, four have dogleg fairways, and water affects play on nine others. The greens are medium-sized, some are elevated, while others are sloped and undulating. All of the holes are named, including the signature hole, which is called "Pipestone Drop." It's a 240-yard, par 4, with a double hill. The first one is from an elevated tee box to a generous landing area, and the second shot is to a sloped green with severe breaks. The pro shop is decorated with antiques, and some of the fairways display antique farming equipment. The beverage cart is available on weekends and during league play. Junior rates are for persons eighteen years and younger.
