The original nine holes on this course are fairly wide open and three have ponds that come into play. The back nine is tree lined with rolling hills and a creek that meanders throughout the design. The greens are designed to fit the length of the hole. For example, the par 3's have the smaller greens. The signature hole is #18, a 340-yard, par 4, requiring a fairly demanding shot over a pond to a well-bunkered fairway. The second shot, to a small well-bunkered green, requires a good club selection.
