As the name implies, this course is located in a coulee. Although the yardage is short, it does not guarantee a low score. There are many strategically-placed sand bunkers and water hazards in the design. The fairways are scattered with trees and quite tight, requiring accurate ball placement. Putting is truly a challenge on the severely undulating greens. The signature hole is #12, a 115-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to a well-bunkered green. Two carts are mandatory with five-player groups. The nine hole weekend rate is in effect after 1 PM.
