The signature hole is #9, a 428-yard, par 4, featuring a well-guarded green surrounded by water and several sand bunkers. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 2nd "Best New Public Course" in America for 1995, and selected it 24th among the "Top 75 Upscale Courses" for 1996. In addition, "Golf Digest" rated this as the 3rd "Best in State" course for 1997-98.
