This course was designed on rolling terrain. The fairways have mounding and vary from wide open to heavily wooded. There are some elevated greens and one that is stepped. There are fifty-six bunkers and thirteen acres of water hazards. Lakes come into play on approximately six holes. A difficult hole is #4, a 457-yard, par 4, with a 200-yard tee shot over water and water along the left side and also water short of the green.
