This course is best known for the mounding and waste bunkers that come into play throughout its design. Hole #15, a 492-yard, par 5, was voted as one of "The Best 18 Holes You Can Play" by "Golf Digest" in 1997. This is a tight little beauty that encourages a bold tee shot by offering a generous landing area. From there, the decision is whether to rifle a shot down the increasingly narrow fairway toward the green, or position an iron for the third shot. A meandering creek, which emerges from the left, crosses the fairway and twists along the right edge of the fairway and green. This course also features a ten-acre, four-green driving range that is rated by locals as one of the best in the area. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 8th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996, and the 19th "Best in State" course for 1995-96. To make tee time reservations call (800) 344-5590.
