Originally a private course (Holmesburg Country Club), the challenging layout was designed by noted architect, Alexander Findlay and is highlighted with traditional design characteristics. The layout is nestled in and around a valley that features a variety of tree-lined and open fairways. Several elevated tees and greens accent the already rolling and sometimes hilly terrain. Torresdale Creek winds through the property and comes into play on a total of ten holes. There are several short par 4s that provide great risk-reward and are mixed with challenging holes from start to finish. A recent bunker renovation including added bunkers, in addition to upgraded course conditions have resulted in a much-improved experience. The course is fun and enjoyable for players of all skill levels.
