Algonkian Regional Park Golf Course was designed by architect Ed Ault and opened for play in 1962. This is a very demanding parkland style course, with a long, narrow front nine, and a rolling back nine. In addition, two lakes and a stream come into play on six holes. The fairways are tree lined, and the large, undulating greens are moderate in speed. The course plays from 5,795 to 7,015-yards and there are three sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels. Tee times are reserved for the weekends on the Tuesday prior. For additional information call the pro shop at (703) 450-4655 or visit the club online at nvrpa.org.
