There are three 18-hole courses at The Greenbrier.
The Greenbrier Course, re-designed by Jack Nicklaus in 1978, hosted the 1979 Ryder Cup and the 1994 LPGA Solheim Cup matches. It has several elevated greens that are guarded by deep bunkers, and fairways with gentle rolls and swales.
The Meadows Course was also built on rolling terrain and offers a panoramic view of the Allegheny Mountains.
The Old White Course is a 1914 Scottish-style design by C.B. Macdonald and Seth Raynor. The course was rennovated in 2006, and several new tees and bunkers were added in preparation for hosting the Greenbrier Classic, a PGA Tour event debuting in 2010.
