This course requires accurate tee shots because any shot not hit down the center of the fairway will go into the trees every time. The course has always maintained a reputation of being fair to the average golfer, but not to the duffer. Tee times are distributed by a lottery system, and sign ups are accepted one week prior to the designated tee times. Ed Ault remodeled this course in 1964.
