This course was closed for renovation during 1997 and reopened in 1998 with improved drainage, renovated greens, new fairways, reshaped bunkers, and other redesigns to certain elements on some holes. The layout includes water hazards (over 100 small lakes) coming into play on every hole. The fairways are sloping and well bunkered, placing a premium on shot accuracy.
