Named for Prince Albert, son of Hawaii's King Kamehameha IV and Queen Emma, playing the Prince course is truly a royal experience. Designed Robert Trent Jones, Jr., it is one of GOLF Magazine's Top 100 Courses You Can Play. Designed with the Scottish links-style in mind, golfers get views of the Pacific on nearly every tee box. Features many deep ravines and plenty of hills, the Prince course also has undulating greens that making putting a challenge.
Though nowhere near as fearsome as the Prince Course, the three nines that comprise the Makaithe Ocean, Lakes and Woodsalso offer a blend of risk/reward golf with stunning scenery. Panoramic Pacific vistas greet golfers on Ocean's par-3 3rd, and from the back tees on the par-3 7th hole you will get a 360-degree view of the North Shore Kauai. On the Woods Course, the 7th hole serves up a black-lava-rock "Zen" bunker.
