Davis Love III won the Wyndham Championship Sunday, recording his first PGA Tour victory in nearly seven years. The 51-year-old, who is eligible to compete on the Champions Tour, also became the third oldest to win on the PGA Tour.
So what statistical performances allowed Love to edge Jason Gore by a stroke at Sedgefield CC? The man known as one of the Tour’s longest hitters was also T12 in total driving, combining ranks of T32 in distance and T10 in accuracy.
