Bubba Watson Wins Travelers Championship In Playoff Over Paul Casey

With his victory Sunday at the Travelers Championship, Bubba Watson became the fourth player with multiple PGA Tour wins this season and jumped to No. 3 in the world ranking, behind only Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth.

The victory is Watson’s second at TPC River Highlands in Connecticut, a bomb-and-gouge type course that fits his game perfectly. Watson's first PGA Tour victory came at the Travelers Championship in 2010, when he beat Scott Verplank and Corey Pavin in a playoff.

En route to his playoff victory over Paul Casey Sunday, Watson finished first in driving distance at 318.5 yards (no surprise), T1 in putts per round (26.75), sixth in strokes gained/tee-to-green and ninth in strokes gained/putting. Watson is putting with a Ping Anser Milled 1 putter.
