NBA star Yao Ming can hold his own on the course, too.
The 7'6" former Houston Rockets center participated in the fourth annual Mission Hills World Celebrity Pro-Am at Mission Hills Golf Club in Shenzhen, China, over the weekend, to much praise from playing partner Natalie Gulbis.
The LPGA star, who is 5'9" and therefore slightly taller than the average woman, was still completely dwarfed by Yao's imposing frame. That didn't mean she was backing down from a reaching high-five after Yao's tee shot.
Those golf clubs look like twigs in his hands, but don't be fooled: the average length of his pitching wedge is 45 inches, a full inch longer than most drivers. Talk about going long!
