U.S. Open Spectators Use Port-A-John to Escape Bad Weather
Mother Nature dominated the first round of the U.S. Open Thursday, causing suspended play multiple times and eventually keeping the afternoon wave from ever teeing off.
When thunderstorms struck Thursday, everyone at the course took shelter wherever they could find it. For some, that meant a port-a-john. FOX Sports golf reporter and former pro Robert Damron caught a photo of some folks hiding out in a port-a-john during the first suspension of play in the morning. It was crowded.
From the looks of it, six people fit in the handicapped portable bathroom. Was there room for one more?
