Turnberry Staff Wear Trump Campaign-Inspired Hats

Tour Confidential: Has Trump Tarnished His Golf Empire?
In light of recent events surrounding Donald Trump's controversial comments on the campaign trail, including a report that the R&A is banning Trump Turnberry in Scotland from the Open Championship rota, has Trump torched his relationships in the golf industry?

Some of Donald Trump’s golf development projects in Scotland have not been popular with the locals. But Trump’s staff at Turnberry seemed pretty supportive at an event to re-open the historic golf course after a massive renovation.

The staff wore red baseball caps printed with the slogan “Make Turnberry Great Again,” an imitation of Trump’s “Make America Great Again” campaign hats. The Donald himself was present to officially re-open the course, wearing his own white version of the campaign hat.

The press conference was interrupted by a comedian who was protesting Donald Trump’s presidential campaign by holding up golf balls printed with swastikas.

Before the renovation, Trump Turnberry was ranked No. 23 in GOLF's Top 100 Courses in the World rankings.
