Some people will go to great lengths for some free golf balls.

Two thieves donned wetsuits and diving equipment to steal approximately 800 golf balls from a lake at the Manor Golf Club in Uttoxeter, England.

When caught by local police, the thieves eventually turned over the balls to the club owner...but not before asking if they could keep them, first. The owner assumes the men were looking to sell the balls, which would have fetched them up to $520 USD.

The men got to go free, along with their diving British course lakes beware, there may be another napping ahead.
