Rory McIlroy doesn't want to be body shamed. In a conference call with media, NBC Sports/Golf Channel analyst Brandel Chamblee said he wasn't concerned about McIlroy's busy spring tournament schedule, but offered some caution over his workout plan.
"I think more than anything of what Tiger Woods did early in his career with his game was just an example of how good a human being can be," Chamblee said of Woods' extensive training regimen.
"What he did towards the middle and end of his career is an example to be wary of. That’s just my opinion. And it does give me a little concern when I see the extensive weightlifting that Rory is doing in the gym."
So when the Golf Channel tweeted out the link to Chamblee's thoughts, McIlroy had a simple message for Chamblee:
No words. No emojis. Just squatting some serious weight. McIlroy clearly doesn't want to hear about putting on too much muscle or training too hard.
It also wasn't the only fun he had on Twitter Tuesday.
And the PGA Tour Twitter account even got into the fun, responding to Rory.
