During his honorary speech commemorating the Golden State Warriors 2015 NBA Championship, noted Chicago Bulls fan and standing president Barack Obama chided many players on the team in witty fashion. His gripe with reigning MVP Steph Curry came not from the hardwood, but from the fairways instead.

Obama joked about his round with Curry this summer, when the NBA star ended up on the losing side of a match.

“For the record, I heard this summer after our golf game, that Steph was using the excuse of secret service being intimidating for the reason why he lost the match,” Obama said. “That was not the case. But he will have another opportunity.”

Usually, if Curry misses on his first opportunity, it doesn’t take many more before he succeeds. You can see Obama’s entire speech below. His golf discussion begins at the 7:32 mark.
