There are Guinness World Records in golf that make some sense (fastest round, most balls hit over 300 yards in one hour) and quite a few that don’t make any (largest golf tee, longest golf cart). Here’s another one to add to the second category: the longest usable golf club.
In June 2014, an American man named Michael Furrh set the record with a club that topped 20 feet. For an unofficial attempt to break his own record a few weeks ago, he used a driver that measured more than 22 feet long. The drive went 87 yards, which is impressive given how unwieldy that golf club looks.
