This week at a golf club in Aberdeen, Scotland, it was briefly possible to combine two great recreational passions of the outdoors: fishing and golf.

A wild salmon was found splashing in a golf course bunker that had been filled with eight inches of water after a major flood. It took a whopping five people to corner and capture the lone fish and return him to the river whence he came. The flooding was caused by Storm Desmond, which struck the U.K. starting on December 4 and has led to widespread damage.

Staff at Peterculter Golf Club could hardly believe their eyes when they first came across the newly-converted fish pond. “I have worked here for nine years now and not seen anything like this,” one employee told the Telegraph.
