That's One Way to Lose Your Golf Ball, Martin Kaymer

That's one kind of hazard you don't expect: children leaping onto the course and pocketing your ball.

In the second round of the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai, Martin Kaymer experienced just that. After hitting a shot that rolled to the edge of the course near a group of spectators' feet, two kids standing at the rope dove on the ball and grabbed it, laughing.

When Kaymer arrived to look for the missing ball, he seemed a bit concerned as to what happened to it, according to the commentators. Hopefully the kids learned that a wayward golf shot is not like a foul ball at a baseball game -- fans probably shouldn’t wrestle over the ball like it's a trophy prize.
