Henrik Stenson's victory at the British Open wasn't all too surprising. Aaron Baddeley's win at the Barbasol Championship later that day was more shocking. Combine the two with a betting slip and you’ve got an incredible story.

According to golf broadcaster Luke Elvy, one person put them all together, parlaying a Stenson win in Scotland with a Baddeley win in Alabama. The July 12 bet came in at 1734-1 and, with a $50 wager, paid out $86,700. The bookmaker would also confirm.

Ely was understandably questioned on Twitter about the merits of the image he posted. Elvy clarified that the unnamed "guy" from his tweet is a "renowned golf punter in Australia." To each their own.
