A golf cart helped Florida police find and reprimand a wet bandit last week.
According to a report from the local Daily Commercial in northern Florida, police found a golf cart submerged in a pond in Lady Lake, near Orlando. Coincidentally, that pond sits adjacent to a house that had been burglarized.
In what must have been their easiest who-dun-it case in some time, police traced the registered golf cart to owner Michael Wayne Hawk, who was conveniently in possession of a new (stolen) TV in his home.
That, and some wet clothing.
Hawk, 47, was charged with burglary and grand theft, according to the report.
