Bubba Watson is not a big fan of TPC Scottsdale, and earlier this week the two-time Masters champ made his feelings known publicly. On Thursday, fans at the Waste Management Phoenix Open returned the favor.

While speaking to media members on Wednesday, Watson said of Scottsdale's Stadium Course, "I don't like it. I'm not going to PC it. I don't like it at all."

Thanks to those remarks, Watson was showered with boos by the raucous spectators at the infamous par-3 16th hole when he stepped to the tee during the first round. Despite the distraction, Bubba was able to knock it close, eliciting a smattering of applause from the audience. He followed that up by handing out some golf hats to fans as he walked to the green.

Watson completed his birdie on 16 and finished with a respectable two-under 69 in round 1.
