It's a moment the golf world has anticipated for more than a year: Tiger Woods' return to competitive golf.
The sport has been without Woods since August 2015 as Woods struggled to recover from injuries and surgeries. The world waited to find out when -- and if -- he'd come back.
Today he posted on his website that he plans to return to three events this year, the first being the Safeway Open in October. Needless to say, golf fans everywhere were ecstatic, responding with a flood of happy gifs, emojis and jokes.
