Wilson's putter pedigree consists of the venerable 8802 blade and not much else. The company's Staff KC line aims to change that. Named for designer Kirk Currie, each of the four models is made to be custom-fit to legnth, lie and loft. But here's the big news: Players also have the choice of three head weights and six grip weights (yes, grip weights). With almost endless combinations, odds are good that you'll find a fit and feel you like.

KCs have a 45-gram brass insert in the sole. The "medium" weight; a 25-gram "light" or 65-gram "heavy" plate can be swapped in with a turn of an Allen wrench (included).

A 45-gram weight hides inside the top of the grip. Again, this is just a starting point: You can go lighter (0, 15 or 30 grams) or heavier (60, 85 or 100 grams) to alter the feel in your hands. $299 800-4576 or wilsonstaff.com
