The new Tour Edge Exotics CB Pro U hybrid ($249.99) is built with the same unique “Slip Stream” sole design as the CB Pro fairway wood, which is aimed at minimizing turf contact for additional speed and overall distance.

In contrast with the fairway wood design the CB Pro U hybrid sole has a reduced length that allows for cut out sections in the heel and toe areas for even greater versatility from a variety of lies and turf conditions.

“After the success of the CB PRO fairway wood, I was asked countless times if I was going to put the waves on another club,” said David Glod, president and founder. “Working with a more compact, hybrid club head took many hours in R&D to engineer, but I’m confident the U hybrid was worth the wait. It is already gaining traction on the PGA Tour and we are excited about what’s to come.”

Other features of the CB Pro U hybrid include a compact, tour-centric profile, reduced offset, a forged cup face and lightweight hyper-steel frame, and a low CG location for enhanced forgiveness and improved launch angles.

The Exotics CB Pro U hybrid will be offered as a limited edition club -- 1,500 clubs total will be sold. The club is available in 17, 19, and 21-degree models. Second generation Kuro Kage Silver Series shafts and Iomic grips come standard. They hit retail June 1.
