We tested: 10.5° with UST ProForce V2 graphite shaft
Key Technologies: Patent-pending shape and 45-degree shaft angle reduce spin and shift weight away from the toe, making it virtually impossible to slice the ball. The face geometry expands the sweet spot above and below the center of the face, which leads to a higher MOI, increased ball speed and more distance.
OUR TESTERS SAY: This one-trick pony is a great option for those struggling with a slice; hard not to hit the ball left.
DISTANCE: Tall, massive face provides adequate distance on off-center hits, especially contact high on the face.
ACCURACY/FORGIVENESS: Eliminates the fear of slicing; point, shoot and it will go left.
FEEL: Center hits provide positive feedback; heavier head is easy to sense throughout swing.
PLAYABILITY: Right-to-left ball flight is the norm; lower-than-normal trajectory and strong roll-out for many testers.
LOOK: Large, closed face inspires confidence that you won't slice it; subtle "TS" marking on the crown is a useful alignment aid.
The funky head shape is a real turnoff for several testers; easy to overdo a draw; many testers find distance to be south of their own driver.
