KEY TECHNOLOGIES: Less bulge and roll than standard hybrids leads to more shot-shaping capability.

Testers rave about its consistency; sweeps through long grass and MacGyvers the worst kind of trouble—hardpan, fairway bunkers, pine straw and awkward lies; produces a medium-high flight with a slight draw; a good choice for finding the middle of the fairway on tight par 4s and par 5s, or for approach shots that call for high, soft landings.
ACCURACY/FORGIVENESS: High marks for accuracy; testers count on—and receive—the same repeating shot time after time; slight misses are typically forgiven in distance and direction.
DISTANCE: As long or longer than testers’ current sticks; these offer reliable, predictable distances; you know what you’ll get each time you hit them.
FEEL: They’re very stable; well balanced and solid through the swing; an enjoyable feeling of responsiveness and compression at impact.
LOOK: Clean, classic hybrid; black matte finish on the compact head cuts glare.

No loft adjustability— definitely get custom-fit; slightly heavier head doesn’t appeal to everyone; standard flight is a draw—beware if your natural flight is right to left.

BOTTOM LINE: One of the top-ranked hybrids. You know what to expect each time you pull it out of your bag. It gets you out of all sorts of trouble, too.
