The new PXG 0311XF irons are made with the same TPE Core Technology as other PXG irons but are aimed at players looking for exceptional forgiveness and feel.

A longer blade length, wider sole, and higher MOI greatly contribute to the enhanced performance on off-center hits while extremely thin clubfaces produce faster ballspeeds and distance. The 0311XF irons are triple forged and feature a thermoplastic elastomer material that dampens vibration while improving energy transfer at impact. In addition, tungsten weights help position the CG to produce higher launching shots with optimal spin rates.

PXG contends that TaylorMade's P790 irons copy its patent-protected designs.

The design of the new 0311XF irons can blend easily with both the original 0311 blades and 0311T models, allowing for seamless mixed sets for those who want maximum forgiveness in the long irons and more precision in the short irons.

"We'd all love to hit the ball perfectly every time, but the truth is many of us don't," American businessman and PXG founder Bob Parsons said. "Most players struggle with imperfect swings and for some playing a blade can be intimidating. So, we engineered a game improvement iron that is even more forgiving than the original PXG 0311 irons and just as sexy. Trust me, forgiveness has never felt so good."

0311XF irons are available in chrome finish or PXG's unique Xtreme Dark coating. A wide variety of custom shafts are also available. $350 per club.
