The new G-Mac Signature Edition ($500) version of the company’s World Class model was designed to commemorate the Northern Irishman Graeme McDowell’s 2010 U.S. Open win at Pebble Beach.
In celebration of his winning score, there will be 284 pairs available at eccousa.com and at select retailers.
Unique features of the limited edition model include a G-Mac logo embedded in the leather heel, gold-colored eyelets, leather outsoles with a G-Mac logo imprint, and gold-colored metal spikes with interchangeable Q-Lok Champ spikes included.
“Combining trend-setting silhouettes, remarkably-premium materials and advanced technologies, this is a luxury golf shoe in the truest sense,” says McDowell. “It perfectly complements my personal style and performance criteria.”
The new signature shoe was designed by McDowell in concert with ECCO CEO Dieter Kasparzak and comes available in three colors, all of which feature GORE-TEX waterproof construction, ECCO Second Skin full leather lining and Comfort Fibre System that improves air circulation for enhanced comfort through the course of a round.
