The 2016 British Open at Royal Troon is just a week away, and top pros across the world are prepping for the chance to take home the Claret Jug. Some pros are getting ready for the Open's traditional links golf by playing in the Scottish Open at Castle Stuart. For others, preparing for the Open means making some vital equipment tweaks to better attack Scotland's rolling links courses.

Rising star Justin Thomas is in the latter group. On Thursday, Thomas tweeted a photo of a new club he acquired for the third major of the year: a Titleist 716 T-MB 1-iron. The young pro even had Titleist custom-stamp "UNO" into the back of the club.

The 2016 Open Championship begins Thursday, July 14 at Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland.
