James Hahn captured his second PGA Tour victory at the Wells Fargo Championship on Sunday by edging out Roberto Castro in a sudden-death playoff.
The unexpected win, which came after Hahn had missed eight consecutive cuts, is not only his second career victory but also the first on the PGA Tour for PXG, the equipment company he endorses. According to pgatour.com, Hahn made a change to the grind on his PXG 0311T irons before the Wells Fargo, adding some much needed bounce that provided improved playability. He also changed his iron shafts to Project X LZ shafts, which are supposed to add more stability during the downswing.
