A market leader in hybrids, Adams has several models for better players along with a popular max game-improvement offering, but it's lacked a game-improvement stick for the masses. Enter Tight Lies.
The "upside-down" head shape promotes a lower CG for high-launching shots, while a trapezoidal "tri-sole" design provides cleaner contact with less turf interaction. The low-profile head packs a punch—a high-strength Carpenter 455 stainless steel face combines with channels in the crown and sole to increase face deflection and boost ball speed. Visually, Tight Lies is a major upgrade over previous models -- acrylic material hides the crown slot. Lofts: 17°, 19°, 22°, 25° or 28°.
The Adams Tight Lies Hybrid will be available at retail on October 23 for $179.
