Ping Scottsdale TR Tatum Putter
Category: Blade Putters
Price: $150
WE TESTED:
34", 35", and adjustable shaft lengths between 31" and 38"
KEY TECHNOLOGIES: Variable-depth grooves contribute to consistent ball speeds. Adjustable-length shafts add an element of customization.

PROS
DISTANCE CONTROL: Tremendous performance on putts inside 25 feet; after a few putts, it's very easy to know how hard to hit it; one of the best for lag putts.
FEEL: Very pleasing, forgiving feel on most putts; great balance provides a ton of confidence time after time; it gives the impression of creating topspin at impact.
LOOK: A timeless, compact head shape pleases just about everyone -- black finish and nice lines make it a modern classic; a single white alignment line stands out.

CONS
The putter doesn't offer quite as much forgiveness as a few testers prefer; some guys want a bit more weight in the head.

BOTTOM LINE: One of the highest-rated models. It's a strong performer because of its excellent distance control, impressive accuracy and good looks.
