Nike Method Core Weighted #1 Putter
Category: Blade Putters
Price: $140
WE TESTED:
35" shaft length
KEY TECHNOLOGIES: A multi-material insert and groove technology get the ball rolling sooner. The club's low, deep center of gravity boosts stability and overall forgiveness.

PROS
DISTANCE CONTROL: Simply stellar -- it regularly rolls putts the distance and direction you want; little difference in results on clunky hits.
FEEL: This face insert is dead-on right -- soft sensation that's the same time after time; good weight and a pleasant, controlled roll.
LOOK: Brushed finish and clean lines; simple white alignment line is classy and effective; larger head and wide sole provide confidence that you'll strike it solidly.

CONS
The head, surprisingly, is too big for a few testers; some guys prefer more feedback on off-center hits; a small minority of testers perceive a distance disparity between center strikes and misses.

BOTTOM LINE: The putter provides easy alignment, sweet feel and a smooth roll in a traditional package.
