The fourth installment of ClubTest 2012 features 24 new putters.
This latest batch of putters, both insert and non-insert, continues several recent trends. There are seemingly infinite precise impact sensations and optic alignment options. In addition, various face treatments and weighting schemes get putts rolling with greater consistency in terms of distance and direction.
Which test models rose above the rest? To find out, 40 ClubTesters stroked thousands of putts on the practice green and the Slammer & Squire course at World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Fla. Putters are divided into three categories: Heel-Toe Weighted Blade, Midsize Mallet and High-MOI Mallet. Our testers tried each model within a category.
